Circuit of Nordeste
This circuit is concentrated on the oldest part of São Miguel, more precisely on the east part of the island. Departing from Ponta Delgada, the tour is performed by the north shore with a brief stop on the city of Ribeira Grande. Next we will have as a stopping point the belevedere of Salto do Cavalo to enjoy a view of the central part of the island, being able to see the Valley of Furnas, the town of Povoação and Pico da Vara (highest point of the island).
Next we will resume to the north shore and visit the natural park of Ribeira dos Caldeirões and various belevederes along the road, having the town of Nordeste as a stop to recharge our energies.
After lunch we will continue on the north shore but passing to the south, where we will have some more belevederes as our company along the road having as a mandatory stop at the town of Povoação, where in the year of 1432 the first settlers arrived, naming the town.

- Departure and return to the lodging place or cruise terminal. To location outside of Ponta Delgada it may be added pick-up costs depending on the distance.
- Chitours declines every responsibility in case the weather condition is not ideal during the performance of the tour, not altering the price established.
- You can perform your reservation, preferably, by e-mail using the contacts under the menu, indicating the circuits, the desired dates and the number of persons.
- Chitours will confirm your reservation with a 48 hour deadline and the deposit of 30% of the value of the reservation through bank transfer. The remaining amount shall be paid at the end of the tour directly to the tour guide. The refund of the initial deposit is only secured if you cancel until 15 days before the date expected of the realization of the tour.
